1) Enthusiastic Presenters
Are you an Engineer with an interest in helping shape young minds of the future? Or a show pony passionate about EWB? Perhaps your not a show pony, but would like to pick up some skills to masquerade as one when the time is right? If so, we want you! Through Teach for Australia we would like to provide an opportunity for our volunteers to gain the necessary skills to communicate the Engineers Without Borders message. We are seeking expressions of interest for volunteers who would be interested in attending a day long workshop sometime in October. Workshop participants would be required to register assist in school outreach or speakers events in 2012.If you are interested in becoming one of a select few "well articulated" Engineers, email Lesley on: lesley.ewb@gmail.com

2) Overseas Volunteer Placements

3) Victoria Research and Curriculum Coordinator
Location: , Victoria
Team: Research and Curriculum
Reports to: Research and Curriculum Committee
Role Description:
Throughout Australia a number of Research and Curriculum activities take place including:
- EWB Challenge
- High School Outreach
- Undergraduate Thesis Program
The purpose of this position is to assist with the coordination of these activities in each regional area. A regional coordinator is required for each state within Australia.
Work Commitment:
- Nov 2010 to Nov 2011
- Time Commitment – 2 hours per week
Key Responsibilities & Actions:
- Attend monthly Research and Curriculum Committee Meetings
- Identify focal points in each chapter
- Assist with coordination of EWB Challenge Presenters
- Assist with promotion of Undergraduate thesis program
- Communicate High School Outreach opportunities to Chapters
