EWB Victoria hosted our first Member Induction Night on the 22nd March; it was to be held at the National Office but due to an overwhelming response we had to move to a bigger location down the road.
There were over 45 people in attendance, a mix between professionals and students. Lizzie Brown, our CEO, gave a fantastic background of EWB’s values, beliefs and activities. Other speakers highlighted overseas and local volunteer opportunities, introducing the many ways new members can get involved in EWB.
Following the success of this evening, there will be more induction and explanation events throughout the year.
